I loved the time I spent at USD and I've made lifelong friends. There are downsides, like all the spoiled, snutty kids who drive big SUVs and have no idea how to pay their way through college. Think Gossip girl in San Diego except all bleach dyed blondes. Also it is very expensive- I'm still paying! But you know what? I wouldn't change anything. I loved my professors and the philosophy and religion classes challenged me to think in different ways. Also one note about being a Catholic school (this is coming from a non-believer/atheist). USD never forces their beliefs on anyone. They do make you take 3 religion related classes; however, you can choose from any religion. It's a wonderful way to expand you knowledge in other religions. If you can afford this school (or don't mind paying for it 8 years later :o)) then I highly suggest USD. |
