No joke. It's a beautiful campus that will provide you with a fantastic education, but more importantly, there are some absolutely amazing people here who will impact your life for years to come. From the moment you set foot on Campus, you'll be amazed by the beauty of the old buildings, the vegetation, the pristine Lower Quad (which, yes, you're not allowed to walk on). The Orientation Board will grab your bags and bring them to your room, and your adventure will begin. It's awesome. You will meet some amazing people, and if you enter it with an open mind, you will have the time of your life. It's not perfect. Intervis (you can only hang out in opposite-sex dorms on weekends) is annoying, but far less annoying than it would be if my roommate's girlfriend was in my room all the time. The faculty can be closed-minded, but that is because of there devotion to the values set out in scripture. There isn't much to do in town, but you won't have to. You'll be able to have a great time with friends, doing whatever. There is plenty to do if you're creative and open minded.I love GCC, I can't recommend it highly enough. It's certainly not for everyone, but if this is where God is calling you, by all means, don't ignore him! |
