Statistical Analyzer:

The Pepperdine experience is what you make it. In a nutshell: beautiful campus, religious affiliation with Church of Christ, many rich students (comes with a private University), challenging academic programs (GEs sometimes being the most challenging), wonderful opportunities for traveling overseas through one of their many well-established abroad programs and to Washington DC for an internship, friendly people where Greek life is not overwhelming, close proximity to Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, and many other fun locations while not having to be directly in the BIG city and dealing with all that comes with it (pollution, traffic, mass amounts of people). That all being said, I had a fantastic time at Pepperdine and think it was worth the big price tag. During my four years the University experience afforded me the opportunity to travel the world while completing my degree, challenge my faith with the required courses in religion (to my surprise), attend courses with small class sizes that allowed personal and intimate conversations, establish close friendships on a moderately sized campus (and by attending the opportunities off campus which bring people closer together)..I could go on.. and of course the location is absolutely breathtaking where a sunset walking back to your campus dorm, after a stressful day of studying for tests and finals reminds you how lucky you are to be alive and appreciate the finer more important things in life versus tests that will pass. The people come from all backgrounds (not all fanatical Christians) and if you are open and friendly you will find people that you can establish lifelong friendships with. Truly a great experience and I'm happy I decided to attend this Univesrity among the many different options that I had.
