Please be sure that this is the type of school you really want to go to before you decide on spending your next years here. Going here is like high school for two reasons. 1-the course work is much the same as high schools. 2- You are guaranteed to see many of your high school friends if you went to school near the college.So if you like easy work and staying with the same group of people, you'll love it.And I hope you haven't come from out of state-as people here tend to stick the their little cliques which makes it next to impossible to befriend people.The teachers are very nice, but the students do seem to lack a bit in social skills.I came to college for an intellectual challenge, and to meet new people. I came to make a new name for myself and leave my old high school persona in the dust.If you want that too, don't try to do it here.Please. Trust me. Go anywhere but here! UT Martin or MTSU (both are cheap) but not here. |
