On a few occasions, I needed to reach someone regarding graduation requirements or requesting transcripts, and ended up talking to upwards of five people before getting a decent answer. They're so big, it's hard to simplify anything. I was only in gen-ed classes, since I was just getting my A.S., so of course I was bored to tears. The curriculum of each class greatly depends upon your professor, but unfortunately BSU employs so many adjunct faculty that it's hard to find the good professors in lieu of the bad. I can't really comment on the major-related classes, since I didn't stick around long enough to find out, but your first two years will be torture. The school spirit is nice, but I'm not the kind of person who cares about that. I want my classes to be interesting and engaging, and I was sorely disappointed. On the positive side, I've heard they have a decent nursing program. |
