I didn't even last a semester. The classes were easy, and I found myself very bored! This wasn't because the teachers weren't good, it was because most of the students, while smart, didn't seem that interested in learning. As far as the town goes, well there isn't much to it. Its tiny and there is NOTHING to do. I was there in fall of 08, and while I don't rub my politics in people faces, I do like to volunteer for political campaigns and when students found out I was for Obama some stopped talking to me at all!!! I found them to be very closed minded, and un-excepting of other views. With that said the campus is beautiful, in the mountains in NC, and very well taken care of. If you don't mind a small school in a small town with nothing to do, and you are conservative minded then you will probably fit in, others probably won't. |
