Statistical Analyzer:

CNR (and single sex education) has had a tremendous influence on my personal and professional life. CNR is a "community" of talented and devoted professors, dedicated staff, and unique young women. The school places a high value on individual talent. If you envision a visit to Lincoln Center as part of an Intro to Music class or a UN internship, then CNR is the place for you. If you are into all-night partying and worrying about your appearance, clothes, etc. then you would be wise to go elsewhere. That being said, you could probably expect social life to be a combination of mixers, off-campus bars, outings to NYC and visits to Fordham, Iona, Manhattan College, etc.

I am an active alumna and have met current students and recent grads over the years. The student body is more diverse (race, religion, social attitudes) than in prior decades, however, the type of student that chooses CNR has remained the same: mature and self-confident with a curiosity about the world around her.
