Although the neighborhood the University is located in tends to be more rough campus police are constantly on patrol and do a great job at making you feel safe. Since I have been here there has not been one day where I have not seen campus police multiple times. I was nervous attending CUA because I am quite a liberal democrat. I urge readers to disregard other comments about how rigidly conservative CUA is. I am an active member in the College Democrats on Campus, who last year won best chapter in the country. They are very influential and plan many events on and off campus. As for the academics, I enjoy all of my professors and they are extremely knowlegable in their subject areas. Many of them are published authors. Another thing I love are the smaller class sizes, it really gives students individual attention. If I had to make the decision again I would definity chose CUA. |
