It's tough to keep from getting sucked into the vortex of underachieving, sleep-deprived loserhood you see around you. It can be rather dull, and I find that the idea that pre-meds should come to a university like this in order to have a good chance to get in to medical school is mostly a myth. "Former pre-meds" are all around you. In some aspects Wesleyan is great, but it can be boring and lonely sometimes. Not to mention, the freshmen dorms are PATHETIC. No free cable, the rooms are at least 50 years old with no serious renovations. SAD |
