Western State is a failure of a college. The teaching staff is full of self absorbed Drs too busy writing their own textbooks to care about their students with very few exceptions. The staff itself is full of idiotic people always in "meetings" and when you do have a chance to talk to you they dont have ANY answers to questions easily found amongst student population or in the depths of the website. The whole art dept. doesn't make any sense and none of the other majors seem structured as well. In the eating hall the dishes are never washed and students are always sick from it. This college is all about raping money out of their students…not that the students even notice. They're all too drunk or high to realize anything happening around them.If you want to be a drug dealer when you graduate definitely come to western. If you value your money, your education and your health anywhere else, even a community college would be a better place.
