Statistical Analyzer:

I came to this school very open minded knowing that chico state was a party school, and me not being one to party i was a bit annoyed about it. Tell someone you go to chico state they say?? ?h the party school? which is extremely annoying because there is only about a handful of the students, around 35-40% that actually party and they are the oines giving us a bad rep, Downtown on the weekends is ridiculous, they have to bring in police on horse to break up parties and riots.

If you are into that lifestyle this is the perfect place, if you love destroying your lived on a daily bases come on down to chico.

Positives,

if you are looking for a college town, you found the right place, the city being built around the college, you have everything and anything you want to do to occupy your time. This University is an absolutely amazing school, The staff and faculty are amazing and i feel bad for them that they have to deal with the idiots that come to class drunk and ruin it for us. You can get a great education here in about any field. The campus is beautiful and is one of the greenest in the world, so if you are looking for sustainabilty you cant get much better than here.

Jobs and apartments

Since nothing but college students live here it is extremely hard to get a job here, mostly only upper classman can get one and you have a good backround of jobs already. Apartments are very hard to get if your wanting to get an average to nice one, crappy ones in bad areas are also hard as well, but mopst apartments are affordable.

If your coming here expecting a job, forget, you wont get one unless you have tones of expeirence and come in june or july to have the job in the upcoming year. overall the university is amazing, but sadly im thinking of leaving here next year because of the students and the way they make so this city and college has a horrible reputation. only my opinion. .. .
