There are supportive teachers and faculty. They will go the extra mile for those students who work hard. Most students are awarded a Trustee Scholarship and they do have Honors Scholarships. On the other hand, Fisher College is not for transfer, adult, or professional students. Why? The environment is extremely secondary high school. The classes are easier than expected due to lenient teachers are afraid to fail students. The classes in programs like fashion merchandising are outdated with professors who have not worked in the industry for many years. Here are some other points to know: exam schedules come out late (two weeks prior to exam week), teachers who teach "outside the box" usually are not back the semester, and paper work is usually messed up. Case in point: the registrars office never sent out paid for/requested transcripts to another college and the Fisher Graduate did not get accepted to the other college due to transcripts missing. Fisher College is a "for profit' college. |
