University is so FAKE!; I was sucked in because of the RED SHIRTS but don't be fooled!

1.) Staff sucks! You basically have to track down your advisor for every little thing, they will not track YOU down. People in the financial aid office are very rude and condescending; Possibly racist. Emails will never be responded. There is noone that you can possibly turn to for help. With all the money you're spending, you should have high expectations for such a 'prestigious' university.

2.) Cafeteria workers, as well as the Bookstore employees are simply rude and arrogant. Seriously, I'm sorry that you hate your job but that's not my problem. BTW, cafeteria food is super nasty, people actually got sick from it and my current roommate found a spider in her fruit!

3.) Most of the kids here are closedminded, rude, sheltered brats. I almost feel sorry that their living their lives blindly, arogantly. Yes, cry and scream until you're parents agree to send you a halloween card!

4.)Lack of diversity. Matter of fact, there's no sense of respect for diversity. Racism is here & will continue to grow. SJU Kid's will never understand the importance of diversity within a professional setting in regards to the real world. & Of course their going to have that one asian and black person on their brochures, it's all for show!

5.) Residence halls are degrading. It's ashame how some kids are forced into worse housing than others and still have to pay the same amount of money. TSK TSK!

6.) Campus securities are poor. No wonder kids are being mugged occassionally. & Shuttles take sooooo long, you minus well walk to your destination but then again, you might get mugged.

7.) Academically, SJU has a limited number of majors and minors. Want to be an engineer? Physics is the closest thing they've got! Their business school is nice but most of the professors are not very helpful. Attendence is also a huge deal, 3 absenses and you're out! What happened to, maybe 10 absenses? I think that's more appropriate considering the fact that kids pay for being in that class.—CONCLUSION? Other than the pretty little campus, this school is totally not worth MY money; what a waste!, speaking for myself only. I'm a freshman and will be transferring out my first semester and I say it with a smile. =)
