Statistical Analyzer:

NYIT is a waste of time if you are not interested in the art departments (graphic arts, architecture, etc…) The other departments are poorly run and don't offer anything to the students. The education department is now no longer existent except for a graduate program because it was so poor. The advisement staff is oblivious and doesn't do anything to actually help you decide your future.

As for the student life and school community there is none. If I didn't play a sport here I would want to probably kill myself. Being part of a sports team makes it a little better. Students glare at you if you say hi and totally ignore you if you have a question. I can not wait to get out of this dump and go to a real school for grad school. When people have asked me where do I go to college and I answer NYIT they respond what is that? or where is that? Exactly… don't waste your time or money on coming to this school. Go somewhere you will have fun! and actually get a decent education…
