I didn't really attend Fisher for long enough to get a feel for the academic value of the school, but the social life was severly lacking. Freshmen are not allowed cars and there is nothing happening within walking distance - so unless you were friends with upperclassmen you were left on campus to either just hang out and make due or drink in your room - which would get busted 100% of the time if there were more than 3 ppl in the room. The rooms were minuscule in the wing i stayed in and most ppl were tripled up… They also have you take prerequisite classes that dont transfer to other schools if you do decide to leave. Also the student body is about as diverse as the preps and jocks you went to highschool with.On the bright side Fisher has great athletic facilities… Pretty good food, and alot of fun intramural activities.. If you read this and none of the negatives about it bother you then Fisher is prob the perfect school for you. |
