A very affordable small college with small class sizes, yet with access to the facilities of a national university. The tuition is inexpensive and the college provides an opportunity to receive very good education at low cost. It's a steal. Professors are hit or miss. I've had a couple bad ones, but most professors are polite, helpful, even enjoyable. Some aren't as knowledgeable about the courses they teach as they should be, so at times they can fail to present the material with the necessary relevance. That mostly applies to IT classes that I've taken. On the whole, the instructors are very good for what is essentially community college. The facilities are okay. Not bad but, could be nicer. Parking is a pain. The enrollment for UC Clermont has grown almost exponentially in last few years. The school is struggling with the boom in student population. Parking is just the most obvious example. The school has been looking for extra class space elsewhere. I believe that a new 50,000 square foot building is in the works. There have been talks of lifting the open admission requirements. A great way to start off your education, UC Clermont has very easy pathways to transfer to the Cincinnati main campus. |
