Everyone here comes here in their already made groups of friends because they all come from the surrounding high schools. It is impossible to make new friends because all of the people here are rich and arrogant. Everyone who comes here their education is paid for by their parents money and have no idea what it's like to live in the real world. As for social life, terrible. Freshmen are not allowed to have cars, buses only run here until 6:30pm, and taxis cost $40 to go ten miles, and more expensive than that if you have more than one person. So pretty much the only thing to do here is sit in your room or walk across campus and eat fried food with everyone else who doesn't have anything to do on the weekends. As for classes and faculty, not challenging at all. Majority of tests and quizzes are open book, hardly any challenging homework, a few 3 page papers and thats it. Many professors don't really know what they're talking about and prefer to spend class having you sit in groups and talk about your feelings. They say this is a great college to come to and it's so easy to get involved in the many clubs..it's not. So if you're looking for a school that has extremely easy classes, not so smart professors, no social life whatsoever, and snooty, arrogant people, Fisher is the college for you. |
