I have been at Catawba for 1 semester and i will tell you the truth that they dont tell you. The food is horrific. Ya there is mondo bar which has a small selection and unlike 100 percent of every other college you dont get any selctions. If you miss the 2 hour span for breakfest or lunch or dinner you dont eat. Im so upset with Catawba because all the schools i want to go to i could have been accepted too but since a majority of their classes dont transfer you get officially screwed. I have asked all the upper classmen or whats left of them why they are still here and they just shrug their shoulders and say " I'm already a junior i migh as well stay". Theirs no enthusiasm in any students what so ever. Sports games are a joke 99 percent of people that go to the games are older folks and alumni. Its so ridiculous. If your looking at Catawba even if your in sports its going to be the worst decision of your life. By the way on the weekends you can count on no one being here. Catawba is a commuter school no matter what anyone tells you. Everyone goes home on the weekends. If you are listening " Dean" change your whole outlook on this school because college should be a learning experience so you can get a job but at the same time you shuld enjoy yourself by having a good time whether with your friends at a party or at a basketball game but i can tell you first hand… THEIR ARE NO PARTIES! Basketball games and Football games are empty NO ONE GOES BUT ALUMNI. Please if your applying to this school listen to me! Im not a huge partier by any means im not a party animal but on weekends it would b fun to have something to do and this school is terible. Catawba has been the worst decision of my life and im doing everything i can to change that. "Dean" DO SOMETHING!!!!!!! This place Sucks!!!!!!!!!!
