That we have no museums, coffee houses, etc. We do have coffee houses. There are many art centers. And there is the natural beauty of the moutains that surrounds the area and provides plenty of opportunity for recreation for students here. It is a beautiful area, and it is small. The positive thing about the small side of the school is the close attention every student recieves in classes from their professors. Every student is treated as an individual with their own values. As far as having something to do there, the Greek life at Emory is at times laughed at, but as a past member, it is a learning experience in itself. Greek life alone offers things to do, not all of them involving alcohol by any means. If you're not into that scene, there are plenty of other things to get involved in: intramurals, films shown on campus, school groups such as Blue and Gold. The courseload is challenging as it should be, and people leave the college with what they want to do clear in their minds. |
