KU doesn't really care about you. There is a LOT of red tape to get anything done. I ended up liking the art history department alot more than I ever expected. That's mostly because I loved my major and worked really hard to keep a really high gpa. If you are not very committed than this degree will definatly take you at least 5 years. KU is full of Greek kids. Which is great if you're that type…but in the event that you are a non-traditional s(very very traditional) student the school doesn't offer you much other then some really interesting professors. I wish I would have gone somewhere else. But, Lawrence is amazing. A really laid back place full of home grown art and alot of live music. A sweet hippy town trying to fend of Kansas politics, and over grown with students for 9 months out of the year. |
