Statistical Analyzer:

Before you come to ECU, stop and think. This school is for some people and not for others. I grew up in a very up-scale intelligent area in the North where education is very important and the high schools are some of the best in the country. I have common sense and street smarts that no one here has. This school is NOT for me. Education and success are extremely important to me and I will not achieve those here. People do not care about their futures or do not have goals and definitely do not care about their school work. Half of my residence hall is on academic probation (below a 2.5GPA) which would hardly get you in to any post-undergrad school.

If you are in to partying everyday (literally everyday), drinking your life and money away, not doing any homework, and probably not going to any grad school, then sure, come here, but if you have goals for your life and want a good education do NOT come here.

I am transferring out of here and am so excited to. People are stuck up and trashy and you cant find one person to have an intelligent conversation with without them using some wrong grammar or wrong information.

I am part of a minority on campus (not a minority where I grew up, but a minority on campus), and I am so out of place. People here know nothing about anyone who isn't white and christian and they sure don't care to learn.

The life-experience people came here with is ridiculous and people really should care more about their education..that their parents/themselves paid so much money for.

The teachers are good, but some should not be teaching. There are teachers who are way worse than some of my high school teachers, and have no business teaching.

However, the resources are great and ECU really does care about it's students. They have free laundry and free printing and an EXCELLENT rec facility. The campus is beautiful and there's always something going on—but if you go, you are weird because you're not out partying.
