don't come here. I went here for one year. My suite had 6 people and only one of them still attend. One of my friends owed 25 cents on his bill and they went to his class and kicked him out of it until he paid. Everyone is very cliquey. The parties consist of a billion people crowding around a keg, you get one cup of beer, and then the cops show up by 12. Everyone goes home on the weekends. A non SJU guest can only stay until 12. only one bar people really go to. mixed opinions on the professors some really good some horrible. The good stuff - the dorms are nice. the campus is safe and beautiful. very responsive to students wants—we wanted more cafeteria hours so they kept it open practically all night.the nice campus fooled everyone into going but the retention rate is so high because once everyone goes there they realize it sucks. if you're looking to make great friends DONT come here. if you're looking for the "college experience" DONT come here. If you're looking for a comfy dorm to sit in while you waste away $50,000 a year, St. Johns might be for you. |
