Forget about transfer credits. Now many transfer credits not accepted, funny considering that a public funded school should not have that option. Some classes are small, but that depends on the major itself. I am currently in one class where it is so packed we have to organize ourselves to move out of the aisle. Some teachers are really great, however there are a few that are condescending and unreasonable. The school buildings need so much maintenance. the structure of the parking garages under the campus itself is unsafe. No repairs have been made in the past 2 maybe 3 years. I have yet to see any attempt on repairs either. Money is wasted on unnecessary things such as televisions in the cafeteria. It sounds nice, however you can barely hear them or see them. It was a completely bad idea. The shuttle services are extrememly slow. In most cases they are late, driving wrecklessly, and even driving while talking on a cell phone. Overall, this university has too much autonomy. There is no regulation of those who are in control of it. Considering that it is a public funded school it should be regulated. For example transfer credits from accredited private institutions should be accepted. They should be regulated on expenses as well. All class rooms should be utilized as much as possible. I have seen many class rooms empty while others are overcrowded. By the way they have no concern for privacy. There is always a photographer who randomly takes pictures of the students while they are unaware of it. These photos are posted up on the website with no permission. Also for the open house commercials, students are video recorded on the campus and are previewed on television. Again this is without permission or awareness of the students recorded. There is a complete disregard for the students, and his or her rights. For brand new student coming from highschool this school may be good for you. For transfer students; seek alternative colleges this place will become a blackhole, you will be stuck there longer than what you really should be. |
