I was initially very excited about attending UCSB. The campus is gorgeous, the city of Santa Barbara is really awesome. After attending for awhile, I was quite disappointed. My profs didn't really care about me, and I had a really difficult time connecting with any of the other students. The partying was ridiculous. If you value your partying more than your learning than you will probably like it at UCSB. I actually ended up transferring because I was so disappointed with the school.
