Overall I have had a pretty good experience. Its a very good school if you actually study the material. You dont get a lot of assignments during the term (if any in some cases) which is both good and bad. For me it was ok because because I am a good test taker and thats most of my grade. If you go to class and pay attention you will do just fine. The problem is that it is a community college… Basically if you can breathe you can get in. I didnt really like this because I had a TON of idiots in my classes. Once you get past the general ed classes then you tend to get away from that. It is also nice that there is a direct transfer over to Buena Vista which shares the campus with Indian Hills. The problem (in my case anyway) is that they only offer night classes 2 nights a week. This would be nice if you worked during the day but I am trying to get done as quickly as possible and I can only take 2 classes at a time. Anyway, I double majored in business and pre-engineering I think they called it. Most of their engineering classes are very good (especially chemistry; Dr. Flournoy is second to none) while the math isnt so strong (they need to hire one more professor). I really dont think you would be disappointed at all with Indian Hills and if you want to know anything more specific feel free to send me an email through here.
