Everyone knows the type of reputation Miami students have: preppy, rich and stuck up. I came here expecting to meet a bunch of wealthy assholes who were here to do nothing but drink their four years away. However, I was proven wrong and met a lot of great, fun people. It is really easy to get involved and the more involved you get, the smaller the campus seems. Everywhere you go, you see someone you know. Greek life is huge and I recommend it. I was never a "sorority girl", but there TRULY IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. I joined one and I love it. Don't let Miami's reputation ruin your chance at a great school. No one really understands how great it is until they come here. |
