I chose MMC over a number of other schools because of my interest in performing arts. Unfortunately, what I gave up in deciding to go to MMC was everything else. There is no "college experience" or "college life" here. The kids are super arrogant, and eveything is a total primadonna (girls and guys). As for a social life - that is non existent. You spend half your time trucking between your dorm and the school, with no real place for people to hang out. And if you are looking for a boyfriend, unless you are a guy, that will not happen here. This is not a place for straight guys, so girls out there, be warned. Also, the social cliques are - well, nasty. Not only do you regular issues to deal with among the kids in your class (typical drama), but so help you if you get a role that someone else wants. I made a total mistake incoming here and am transfering out. Make sure before you come here that you do not want a "college experience" or find a place where you will have a group of friends you can rely on - because you will not get it here. Complete waste of a year and money. And because of the ridiculous schedule, I will probably lose at least a full semester of credits when I transfer. Thanks, MMC. |
