Menlo College is very well known where I am from (Hawai'i). A lot of kids from Hawai'i come here because they like the feel of a small school in a big state. That's what I love about Menlo. Most of the faculty and staff are always more then willing to lend a hand and help you achieve all your goals. Every event on campus is entirely free for the students, including our annual Lu'au, which is known as the best Lu'au in the California. All tutoring is free, the writing center is very helpful for those students who struggle with english. The dorms are not perfect, but hey why would you spend that much time in your room? College is a time to get out and mingle with people. I don't agree with the fact that on campus students have to have a meal plan. I would have to say that Menlo is almost perfect, except that the Dean of Student Affairs is a complete fake! Yasmin Lambie-Simpson, she does not or rather cannot mingle and connect with the students because she has no respect for them. She is very biased and you can completely tell that she favors some clubs and people more then others. She goes behind people's backs and completely corrupts Menlo. Menlo really needs to get rid of her.
