Students party with the same people and do the same things every week and it becomes fairly boring. Parties get broken up too easily. Most of the students are academically oriented and there are quite a few bright students on campus. However the majority of the student body knows nothing about current events or politics which is saddening to say the least. However the student population and campus life is only getting better at Lasell. Within five years it will be just fine. Campus is in a good location, right on Commonwealth Ave where it's possible to walk to Boston, the Woodland and Riverside T stations serve either end of campus and there are bus routes to everywhere else you need to go. The campus shuttle runs until 2am and takes you to several prime locations as well as the T stations and all over campus.Academics are alright, many professors are very professional, well-published intellectuals. There are a few adjunct faculty who are idiots but that happens at every "average" college. If you put the work in and take the right professors you'll learn a lot and be very satisfied with the instruction. |
