Most recently, we attended an open house. Rather than finding an intimate, open campus with worldly vision - the visible impression was that it was a rather stiflingly, small institution represented by those with even smaller minds and trivial, closed perspectives; oddly, they had such an overinflated view of themselves, and their sweet little campus, I honestly felt sorry for them. The shining highlight of the expedition proved to be the ancillary employees (ie, those working within the dining facilities and coffee kiosks) - many of whom showed such kindness and protectiveness of "their girls", it proved to be most unique and rather endearing. |
