I took a leave of absence from school due to family issues. The school never explained to me how this would impact my financial aid. I now have a balance owed to the school that I cannot afford. They will not release my transcripts until it is paid, so now they are preventing me from continuing my education elsewhere. This kind of accounting nightmares have been experienced by several people that I went to school with.
