If you enjoy any kind of culture, diversity, and entertainment that does not consist of drinking till you pass out then UK is not the place for you. There is nothing to do in the city of Lexington besides bars and frat parties that you cant go to unless your in the fraternity. This place is like a time wrap,the people here seem to be stuck in the 50s.

It almost like segregation still exists here as there is very little interaction between minority students and the student white population. Events are either mostly all white events or black events. Many of the professors are terrible teachers, arrogant, and difficult to get a hold of.

The most popular social event is going to Keenland. After going once I cant figure out watch the attraction is to this place. Getting drunk in the morning to watch horses race is not my idea of a good time. If your not from Kentucky and your considering UK, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. It SUCKS here plain and simple.
