Statistical Analyzer:

I graduated as an Interior Design major. Most all of what I learned was at my internship. In fact, that was the most useful part of the program.

The professors are obsessed with how your boards look in you studio projects. They do no prepare you to work like you do in a design firm. Code, design and management take backseat to a large quantity of erroneous work.

I was in the class of transition, so I constantly was frustrated with the feeling like a lab rat for the next years corrected curriculum. I also was there before the new art building. The one i was in was moldy, leaky and gross.

I hated the people there. I agree that they where not easily approachable and would make you feel unwelcome at any point in time.

I was given scholarships freshmen year that disappeared sophomore year. Some of which I had to pay back… odd for a scholarship.

They overcharge for any little thing (maintenance, food etc.) The open hours for the cafe are limited on purpose so you are forced to spend money on other campus food.

The best time I had there was working over the summer. They show you the nice beaches, but in northern Mass, it is ice cold during the school year. The summertime was great to relax and hang out with down-to-earth people.

By my Sr. year, I felt defeated and have nothing good to look back on for my college career. Interior Design is a major not offered at many schools. I truly wish I would have transferred.
