Statistical Analyzer:

I loved my four years at Denison. The campus is gorgeous, and I always found that my professors were willing to help me explore my own interests, rather than what they wanted. It's an all-residential campus, so you have to live there, but that really adds to the DU experience. The dorms are old, but they're comfortable, and there's a really strong sense of community that comes from living with your classmates for four years. The school really makes an effort to bring a lot to campus to make up for being in such a small (but really great) town, and people who complain that there's nothing to do are just passing up the opportunities presented to them. I got pretty involved in a lot of student organizations too, and so between those and classes, I was always busy.

Denison does have some downsides. There's a definite tension between a portion of the student body that comes from an upper crust background and those that don't. The Greek population is pretty large, and it seems like every year, there's at least one big issue between the Greek and non-Greek community. Denison is also a very competitive school. Everyone works hard, and there are no class rankings, but there is a lot of "one upping" when it comes to how much work people have and who's doing better than who.

But like I said, I found my niche and a great group of friends, and I was able to really enjoy my four years. There's nothing like walking down Chapel Walk on a sunny spring day, and I feel like my education was top notch.
