I transferred to Wake in August 2009, and I've loved every minute of it! The university really goes out of its way to make life good for the students, from the administration to the professors to the student health staff. I was having medical problems last year, and it was amazing how much the Wake community really helped me get back on my feet and supported me! I am happy with the food services at Wake, and it's as close to home cooking as you can get! I really was surprised that, right before Thanksgiving break, the dining staff cooked a real home-style Thanksgiving dinner for all of the students that was truly delicious! The classes are difficult and very competitive, but they also teach us to think on our own and be able to apply what we've learned rather than simply memorizing details. I give Wake Forest University two thumbs up, and I encourage everyone to come here who is willing to work hard and put their best efforts forward! If I could go back to last summer and do the whole transfer process over again, I would still decide to attend Wake. I am a Demon Deacon and proud of it! Go Deacs!!!!
