Ramapo provides wonderful opportunities for students who are self-motivated and proactive. I was a research assistant as as student, involved in clubs that enabled me to interact with the president of the College and other staff who supported my growth as a student and later as a professional. Ramapo was the right school for me, and I made the most of my time there which opened many doors. I believe that most of my friends while I was there would say the same thing. There were many students on the campus who waited around for things to happen and didn't take initiative to get involved - they were unhappy, but isn't that reflective of the wider world? The doers see opportunity and take advantage of it; those who are minimally motivated do not.
