There is nothing to do here. We don't have a movie theater because its been under construction all summer, only a couple bars, and the pool/water park is decent when its not overflowing with younger children. You'll have to drive to Spokane, Pullman, or the Lewiston/Clarkston area to have some fun. The locals here are just plain weird. They try to keep the town as it has been since it was founded. Expect protests on Main Street on the weekends, "hippies", and qwerky smelly small businesses. Every year these people come out of their hill homes when Hemp Fest, the Ren Fair, and Rendezvous in the Park rolls around. I can't say much about the college side of the town, as I'm sure it's quite different. If you're conserned about the surrounding town, I'd give it a thumbs down. |
