I love our theme: "Enter to learn, depart to serve" and that's exactly what I would've wanted as I continued my education at this institute. I chose Bethune to learn how to franchise, write a business plan, manage my own business and be more "corporate". The one thing I can truly share with you is the assistance Mr. E.A. Burney gave to me, which is how to carry oneself as, not only a lady, but a corporate woman. After graduation I went on two Fortune 500 interviews and could point out what was wrong with the other women (dress code). The knowledge on how to conduct oneself at an interview I owe to Mr. Burney, thank you sir. Don't get me wrong there are great moments that have been shared in the School of Business, but as a whole at Bethune-Cookman University the bad truly out weighs the good. |
