I went to this school expecting to make new friends and be welcomed into Florence's small town atmosphere. What I got instead was a whole town full of traditionalism and close-mindedness. This southern town is the type of town that condemns change of any sort. The people of this town do not and will never accept people that are not born and raised Alabama residents with clothes matching their peers. If you are looking for a diverse college with lots of helpful staff and a town full of things to do, this college IS NOT FOR YOU.

If you are somebody who is reading this and does not follow every single social rule that society had laid out for you, I am asking, NO, BEGGING you to reconsider this as your college.
