They choose the lowest acceptable accreditation standard-teaching students to not diagnose patient complaints so a student gets no experience in this and is incompetent when they graduate into the real world. The reason for the problem is because the school is the offshoot of an unethical practice management group headed by a quack named Sid E. Williams called Dynamic Essentials.(visit Chirobase.org for more information on him). In order to keep from losing chiropractic patients, they believe in sticking to a dangerously outdated standard of care where a chiropractor can treat any condition. The result of that referrals are often delayed and patients undiagnosed resulting in delayed treatment and patient injuries and deaths. Chiropractic in general is a sketchy field (it hates science, loves quackery and has too limited a scope and unvalidated treatment approaches to really be good health care and is in serious decline) that I wouldn't recommend but schools termed "mixer" like SCUHS and National don't have this problem.Don't waste your time with LIFE University. |
