I have worked very hard, and have basically never heard a positive feedback comment from a professor. They have not made time for me and have honestly made me feel like dirt. I would have expected them to not have time for me if I was at a huge state school, perhaps, but some of my classes had only 9 people. When I was struggling, I was once told I should drop the class, after the professor blatantly did not respond to my emails. My honest advice for you, trying not to be biased by my experience, is to look elsewhere for your education. There are other catholic Universities in the state of MN that I believe are more helpful and more caring for the students wellbeing. Check out St. Mary's University in Winona is one other option that I have looked into, although I can not speak too much about how life is there. All I know is St. Thomas is not worth your 40 grand a year for their over inflated ego. |
