Statistical Analyzer:

I am almost complete in the clinical medical assistant technology program. I have over a year of courses completed and now I am in Clinical Externship in a busy Urgent Care facility. What an easy transition from the clinical labs on campus to real life situations, working on real, sick patients in the community. I have put in a lot of time and effort to learn what I need to be able to actually function as a medical assistant but it was all worth it. The facility where I am has already offered me a job and I will be working with 2 graduates from my program who already work there. The person who interviewed me said she will only hire graduates of NEITs Clinical medical Assistant program because they function at a much higher level than graduates from other medical assistant programs. I have worked with other students from other vschools completing their clinicals at my site, and they are clueless about so many things that I think are just so basic. So I can really see the difference in how I was educated and how other programs just don't measure up. My program is really difficult, but the instructors are there for you and there is a LOT of extra help available if you need it. Also, they know me by name - I'm not just a number to them. I don't feel like I'm lost in a sea of students. They really seem to hope that I succeed and get my degree. And yes the college is accredited, and I will be taking the national certification exam for medical assistants at the end of my last quarter when I finish all my courses. I'm a happy camper and very satisfied.
