I love Queens! It is a great school for any student who actually wants to learn and be engaged. Kids have fun and there are parties at a few places off campus every weekend but it is definitely not the "big" party school. The professors are very helpful and friendly, they will do almost anything to help you. I've gotten very good academic advice and guidance from my adviser. Getting involved in clubs and organizations is easy, almost everyone is involved somehow. There are many different clubs for whatever students are interested in such as SGA, Campus Union Board,International Club, etc. Class size is also really good, it is a place where your presence matters and you don't feel like one in a million. You are able to focus and have that intimate classroom environment. Our campus is beautiful. We are a small school but we are located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Charlotte, which is Myers Park. A new building and gym are coming to campus soon, the new health building will be an environmentally friendly! Overall, this school offers great academic opportunities while being involved in many other things. |
