Some questions are too vague - i would say there were SOME students who were snooty or unfriendly/unapproachable, even some faculty who weren't as approachable/personable as others…so i guess some of those questions are a mixture. Remember: Attitude is everything and we choose our behaviour!

Re: CHAPEL—Students who feel forced to go and are defiant about that, shouldn't even bother applying because it should be a desire in your heart; you should WANT to go (even if sometimes you don't feel like it/sickness for example. I didn't want to miss it! :)

The same thing when it comes to living out these rules

and being ticked because one can't dance unless on break for example. You need to examine your heart to see what your motives are for going to MBI. If you desire to do these things which are gray areas so to speak (and don't feel convicted), apply at a place where there are no guidelines.

I do feel sorry for those who are rebellious in spirit and try to bring others into their negative influence. **Don't over-expect or become disillusioned in other students as that will discourage you. Keep looking to HIM who will help you not to feel overwhelmed if you ask Him… **Great classes, interaction and interesting lectures; not watered down, but biblically enriched and Christ-honouring. **A pretty good mixture of activities with the brother/sister floors, but i found once i got the core of friends to hang out with, we did our own things most of the time - beach, eating out, park, etc.

Even though you are in a godly environment, you still need those quiet times with the Lord (separate from homework which includes Bible reading). Prayer is also important and with living with a roommate, that can be your first big test…consideration and communicating expectations is such a key factor :)

**Great sports facility and work-out gym, as well as Library and resource centres.

There are many opportunities to go above and beyond with Chicago right there front and center. So much involvement can be done in the community. I really do miss Chicago!

All the best in wherever the Lord leads you… :)
