So go to Naropa as an end unto itself. Don't go thinking it will give you an experience comparable to a more conventional college. If you want to learn more about Buddhism, meditation, etc., go to college elsewhere and find the resources there. Naropa is for people in the later stages of life, not for young people. Many people there are searching, some quite desperately, for meaning and significance in chaotic and confusing lives. Another review on this site made reference to a significant proportion of the student body being mentally ill—believe it! |
