This is true for KSU as well. I sought out the better professors, took charge of my academic planning, and pushed myself to get involved. I had a very good experience. Many of the people I encountered who were not satisfied were simply lazy. They wanted so much done FOR them instead of finding out for themselves (mmm, could this be 'education'?) My biggest complaints (and the reason why my son chose another school): Academic advising-haphazard and sloppy and if you dont make an effort in this ares yourself, you will have a lousy experience. Other than that, I have only minor complaints.
