Statistical Analyzer:

This school is more career oriented in which it aim is to teach you skills to find entry level employment in creative fields. I just recently graduate with an Associates in Fashion Merchandising after I decided to change from the BFA: Fashion Design program which I found to be terrible. The instructors I had for many of my classes were good and friendly and often had in depth conversations with me regarding how well I was doing in the program. I did learn about different aspects of the fashion industry from attending this skills and gain some graphic designs skills in the process. I was lucky enough to finish the degree without having to take out any private loans and pace myself so i did not have to do a payment plan either,, because when I went ti the financial aod office I always talk to them in direct and matter of fact tone to provide them from playing any games with me. I will offer the advice as far as career services it is a joke. The scholl has not develop any industry contacts for student to find internships or part time employment while attending school. That department deserves an A for effort, but overall an F for services. I am recent graduate and the career services advisor upon graduation tried pushing me to work retail, but you can do they without a college degree. I empahsize what types of jobs I was interested in the courses I told that had perfrom me to work in that area. I do think its Fashion program needs some work, because if you are not openly creative and have ideas, which you are seeking classes that will teach you the fundamentals you will get lost. The biggest negative experience I had while attending the school was the career services department and having to go two years unemployed in order to complete my degree. The career services department even went as far as to blame the economy as the reasons why they do not have any job contacts!!!!!!!!!
