I went to Trident Tech because I didn't know what I wanted to major in and it would be a cheap alternative than experimenting at a four year. I must say. I was quite surprised at how challenging some of these classes could be. All of my science classes were challenging in their own right. Both of my professors had multiple years of teaching experience as well as Masters degrees in their respective sciences. The Foreign langauge department is again, excellent. Both of them greatly expounded on what I learned in high school. One of them even works as a translator for the US.Government. However, my elective classes, while interesting, were a cakewalk. I wish they'd be a little more challenging. If you come here, don't expect it to be entirely easy, especially if you're majoring in Chemistry or Biology. The math and science departments are top notch. Transfer students from College of Charleston and USC often state how difficult the classes are in comparison to their university equivalents. I can fully say that Trident Tech has made me ready for a four year. |
