I started attending Keiser University in the Summer of 2006 and I have to say that it has been a great experience for me. I opted for the Online Classes because I preferred and needed the flexibility they offered at that time. I have not regretted that experience but for may feeling like I may have enjoyed some of the on-campus type activities like making friends and study groups. Professor Klein has to be my favorite of all teachers, but I have honestly not had a teacher that I felt was bad. Some more interactive with the students than others, some classes having a much heavier workload due to the material than others, but in general, all the teachers have been awesome. The only complain I really have about the school is the extremely high tuition. It really is expensive. I am scheduled to finish my Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies in April of 2011 and plan to participate in the graduation ceremony of the Summer of 2011. With graduation quickly approaching, I was looking over my student loans and stuff and almost had a heart attack to see how they have racked up. For the 4 years of schooling, my Associates Degree in Paralegal and my Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies I have a whooping $52,000 in student loans. I am 41 years old and will be paying this loan off until I am nearly 60 years old LOL. I was thinking, this is as expensive as if I had bought myself a little condo.Other than the tuition cost though, I have no complains. Whenever I have called to speak to my Academic Adviser, I have always been able to do so and they have been very helpful. Same with Financial Aid and the Brusar's office. If I needed to speak to a teacher, they were more than willing and able to call me and spend as much time as I needed speaking to me. A couple times I have needed to get my transcripts for scholarship purposes and each time I have called for it, they have emailed me an unofficial one within seconds since that is all I needed. So, I'm not sure about all these negative comments about the faculty, I have not encountered that at all in the 4 years there. |
