Statistical Analyzer:

The only good thing about this school is that most (not all) of the professors are really great- willing to help students and genuinely concerned with their success. Everything else about it is terrible. Parking is unreasonably priced and inconvenient, the faculty administrators are the most arrogant, unhelpful, rude and miserable people I have ever met in my entire life. They are completely unwilling to help students and have a sense of entitlement above students (despite the fact that we pay their salary!!!!). Nothing is easy in any department. You have to fight for transfer credits and literally fight to get into classes. There are WAY too many students accepted into this school and absolutely not enough classes for everyone to take (especially in the sciences). Everything about registering is a hassle and like I mentioned before, no one is willing to help! The professors do what they can, but even their requests to the administration are sometimes unheard. The buildings are falling apart, the roof is about to collapse and when it rains there are 3 foot puddles everywhere. Also, in mostly all classes i've taken here there is an enormous scale because students are NOT doing well on exams. I think this is because of the extremely high amount of international students that come here and are not fluent enough in English to be taking these courses. On average, in the classes i've taken, an "A" is around a 50%. Meaning, if you get 20's on all your exams, you will probably end up with a C. This is frustrating for students who are doing well, who end up getting A's (even without the scale), who are receiving the same degree as people who are being passed along through upper level classes. Ultimately, you get what you put into it at any university, but this particular school has a quality of education that is far below what it should be, and what people think it is.
